Since the August 2006 opening of the US National Whitewater Center (USNWC) in Charlotte, NC, thousands of visitors have come to test the rapids, walk or bike the trails and try their luck at the many climbing walls. The USNWC is a 307-acre public adventure sports facility that trains Olympic-caliber athletes, weekend warriors and curious observers.
