Thousands of Charlotteans and visitors flocked to downtown Charlotte on Saturday, October 29, 2011, for the Wells Fargo Community Celebration. The daylong festival took place in the streets, in public atriums and in downtown museums, which offered free admission all day long. Wells Fargo, which this month completed its conversion from Wachovia, picked up the bill.
