Arriving beneath a spray from a firetruck's hose, US Airways Flight 1549, also known as the Miracle on the Hudson plane, traveled in pieces to its final resting place at the Carolina Aviation Museum in Charlotte, NC.  Two years earlier, the commercial passenger flight was enroute to Charlotte/Douglas International Airport when it was successfully landed in New York's Hudson River after striking a flock of Canada Geese six minutes after taking off from LaGuardia Airport.
