Mexican aerial dancers dressed in colorful traditional clothing entertain travelers to Tulum, the site of archaeological ruins of Tulum (Ruines de Tulum) and the villages popular Mexican markets. Tulum is one of several Mexican tourist districts found in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo. The dance, called the Flying Men Dance or Danza del Volador, is performed for donations or tips. Wearing traditional attire, the dancers climb to the top of a pole (approximately 100 feet tall), fasten ropes to their bodies then spin, rotating around until they reach the ground.
