The Blue Ridge Mountains are a popular spot for travelers, tourists and visitors seeking beautiful vistas of fall leaf foliage. One particularly striking spot (shown here) is at Grandfather Mountain near Linville, NC. Grandfather Mountain is about two hours from Charlotte.
