The full moon hangs over Charlotte's Duke Energy Tower in downtown Charlotte, NC. Actual photo, moon was not placed on image using PhotoShop or other photo editing software. The Duke Energy Center stands 786 feet tall with 48 floors (54 floors including the mechanical floors). Completed in 2010, it is the second-largest building in Charlotte. The Duke tower is illuminated by hundreds of programmable color LED (light-emitting diodes) and metal halide luminaries, which allow the colors of the building to be changed for visual interest and artistic effect.
