The 150,000-square-foot NASCAR Hall of Fame interactive museum opened in downtown Charlotte, NC, in May 2010. Owned by the City of Charlotte, licensed by NASCAR and operated by the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority (CRVA), the NASCAR Hall of Fame documents and commemorates the roots and legends of stock car motorsports/racing. Pei Cobb Freed & Partners were lead designers, with local architectural support from Charlotte's Little Diversified Architectural Consulting.
