Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) offers courses in non-destructive examination technology. The program trains students in examination of aging infrastructures, petrochemicals, and power generation facilities. Non-destructive examination examines materials without damaging the intended usefulness of the component. NDE is applied when creating new materials.
