High-adventure participants practice climbing and repelling at the US National Whitewater Center (USNWC). The USNWC's facilities offer multiple high-adventure outdoor sports, including ropes courses, zip line courses, rafting, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, biking, running and more. The center opened to the public in 2006.
