The Serpentine Garden leads visitors along a winding brick path in Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. The gardens attracts plant, flower and gardening enthusiasts for its large manicured gardens, natural areas, woodland trails, water fountains and Orchid Conservatory. DSBG covers 380 acres of rolling meadows, woodlands and lakefront property in Belmont, NC. The gardens were founded by retired textile executive Daniel J. Stowe. Tended by employees and devoted volunteers, the garden has built a substantial reputation in and around the Carolinas. HGTV, Home and Garden Television, named Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden one of the nation's 20 Great Gardens.
